Garden & Plant Nursery
Yorkshire in Bloom -- Silver Gilt & Gold Rose Award Winner --- "A fascinating walk for the judges through many hidden gardens and is indeed a plantsman's paradise." - Summer 2009Cold Cotes' extensive garden, filled with birdsong and creative plantings, is at ease in its rural setting. With expansive views to the Hambleton Hills, it provides beautiful, tranquil and relaxing surroundings for you to explore during your visit.
There are a series of discrete gardens including formal areas around the house, a stream side walk and sweeping herbaceous borders inspired by designer Piet Oudolf. The garden is continually evolving, so there is always something new to see. Our newly developed wooded garden with wonderful spring and autumn colour gives the garden increasing year round interest.
